This is my first message to you as Worshipful Master. I am humbled that the brethren would deem me worthy of such an honour. I will do my utmost to repay that faith.
W. Bro. Brett Kahler is to be congratulated on assembling an outstanding Installing Board. It ran like a well-oiled machine, thanks to everyone who participated. It was a memorable evening, one that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Our last meeting before the summer recess will be our annual strawberry social. We will open lodge at 7:30 p.m., conduct our business, and retire to the banquet room for a social evening. Feel free to bring your wives, girlfriends, or partners and let’s have an evening of fellowship and social intercourse before we recess for the summer.
Finally brethren, Sue and I would like to wish all of you a safe and happy summer. While traveling through this great nation of ours, please drive carefully. We want to see each and every one of you back in the fall.
To the sick and shut-ins, may the World’s Great Architect keep you safe and allow you many hours of happiness.
Fraternally yours,
W. Bro. Robert Phillips
Worshipful Master

VisionTV is airing a few programs in February and March 8 that might be of interest to our Bretheren.
The documentary series Enigma will be airing a three-part look at Freemasonry.
The shows will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET, Repeats Saturdays at 10 p.m. ET and Mondays at 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. ET
Feb. 21 – Masonic Legends: For centuries, the secretive Freemasons have been shrouded in rumour, myth and scandal. Why? In a revealing three-part documentary, Enigma investigates the history and inner workings of Freemasonry, and lays bare the mysteries behind the world’s most legendary secret society. Part one delves deep into Masonic lore, revealing the brotherhood’s connections to ancient Egypt, Medieval Scotland and the Knights Templar. And for the first time ever, Freemasons allow the filming of their most sacred ritual: The Third Degree.
Feb. 28 – Masonic Leaders: Did Freemasons make the modern world? For centuries, members of this secretive brotherhood have shaped world events, from the Boston Tea Party to the rebirth of Turkey as a modern secular state. The second hour of Enigma ’s three-part look at the world’s most legendary secret society also takes the viewer into the largely segregated world of Prince Hall Freemasonry, which is forging a new generation of community leaders.
A third program will air on March 8th. For more information:

Please join us in celebrating our 50th anniversary on Thursday March 22, 2007. We are requesting all Past Masters especially try attending as we want to take a photograph for our records. This is a significant time in our history and we would like to have as many members present as possible to share this special night. If you haven’t been able to attend on a regular basis, do your best not to miss this one! It promises to be a night you will remember. We will be opening Lodge at 7:30 p.m. as usual and bringing in visitors as soon as we open. It is an Emergent Meeting so the entire evening will be focusing on the celebration.
We hope to see you there!!
